HWWH P4 Scooter Review [+$100 OFF Discount Code]

As an avid electric scooter enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for machines that push the boundaries of performance and design.

The HWWH P4 scooter caught my attention with its impressive specs, and after spending some quality time with it, I can confidently say it delivers an exhilarating ride.

However, don’t just take my words for the sake of it. Let’s see the finer details in this HWWH P4 review.

Performance

HWWH P4 scooter Review

The dual 5000W motors provide a combined 10,000W of power, making acceleration swift and responsive. I was particularly impressed with its ability to tackle steep inclines—up to 45°—without any noticeable drop in performance.

While this ride is rated to hit a maximum speed of 62 MPH (100 KM/H), I registered 57 MPH on my GPS tracker.

As with any electric ride, the maximum speed depends on factors such as the rider’s weight, battery status, and overall riding conditions. I weigh 207 lbs currently, so if you are lighter, you can be sure to hit a faster speed than I did.

For a ride capable of going this blazingly, it’s essential to wear the appropriate safety gear and ride responsibly.

For the acceleration part, I went from 0 to 30 MPH (48 KM/H) in just 3.8 seconds. This is a torquey ride, so be careful as you lay your finger on the throttle.

Battery Life

The 72V 50Ah lithium-ion battery offers a substantial range of up to 81 Miles on a single charge, depending on riding conditions and terrain. During my tests, I found that even with aggressive riding, the scooter maintained impressive battery longevity.

My tested range was 68.4 Miles (110 KM) before the battery ran out of juice. I rode it in a flat tarmacked terrain set-up and on Mode 1, the slowest.

As a scooter with 3600 Watt-hours, the HWWH P4 is undoubtedly a high battery capacity electric scooter, so you won’t have to worry about the battery dying too soon. For the record, the other newer scooter with the same capacity is the YUME Predator, but it is more than $1000 pricier.

Ride Comfort and Handling

From the moment I stepped onto the HWWH P4, I could tell this wasn’t just another electric scooter—it was engineered for comfort and control.

The dual hydraulic suspension system is a standout feature. The front boasts a long-travel inverted hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear is equipped with a 12-level damping hydraulic shock absorber. This combination ensures that the scooter absorbs shocks and vibrations effectively, providing a smooth ride even on the roughest terrains.

The 14-inch off-road tubeless tires further enhance the ride quality. These tires are slip-resistant and wear-resistant, making them suitable for various road conditions, including mountain roads, beaches, gravel roads, and city streets.

Handling is precise and responsive. The scooter’s design ensures that it remains stable at high speeds, and the dual hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power. Whether navigating tight corners or making sudden stops, the HWWH P4 responds predictably and confidently.

Portability

While the HWWH P4 boasts impressive performance and features, its portability presents certain challenges.

Weighing in at approximately 50 kg (about 110 lbs), this scooter is substantially heavier than many other models on the market. It weighs more than the YUME Raptor electric scooter, which we thought was heavy enough.

For context, lightweight commuter adult scooters often weigh between 40 to 60 lbs. This significant weight difference becomes evident when attempting to carry the P4 up a flight of stairs or load it into a vehicle’s trunk. Even though the scooter features a foldable design, its folded dimensions—approximately 147 cm in length, 28 cm in width, and 50 cm in height—still make it a bulky item to handle.

During my experience, transporting the P4 required careful planning. Lifting it into my car’s trunk was a two-person job, and maneuvering it through narrow hallways or staircases was cumbersome. The absence of features like collapsible handlebars or a telescopic stem, which are found in more portable models, further limits its ease of storage and transport.

Build Quality

From the moment I unboxed the HWWH P4, it was evident that this scooter is built with durability and performance in mind. The frame is constructed from reinforced aluminum alloy, offering a robust yet relatively lightweight structure that can support a maximum load of 200 kg.

The scooter’s design incorporates a reinforced front bracket, enhancing stability during high-speed rides and on uneven terrains. The full suspension system, featuring a front long-travel inverted hydraulic shock absorber and a rear 12-level damping hydraulic shock absorber, effectively absorbs shocks and vibrations, providing a smooth ride even on rough surfaces.

Attention to detail is evident in features like the super-large 6-inch multifunctional LCD central smart display, which provides real-time information on speed, battery life, and other essential metrics. The inclusion of combined headlights and cool LED lights not only enhances visibility but also adds to the scooter’s aesthetic appeal.
